Two Research Project Works is going on under NRIDA :
a) Feasibilityof plastic paver block in Rural Roads.
b) Compararive Analysis of use of additives Kiln Dust and Rice Husk ash to improve performance of earthern Shoulders.
Apart from training and research works testing of various construction materials and soils are done at RCTRC.
Laboratory:
RCTRC has four Laboratories dedicated for the purpose of conducting testing of materials used in road/ bridge construction works. All kind of quality control tests specified by National Rural Roads Development Agency under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India as applicable to the works under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) are also being conducted in these Laboratories.
